Exeter City Council customised the standard Via Fingerpost to create a distinctive wayfinding scheme for the City. The Council chose a satin polished stainless steel post machined with a vertical groove and in filled with red to improve visibility. Each post is topped with a finial in Exeter red. The fingers panels are anodised with engraved lettering and display colour arrows denoting the different areas of the City to tie in with their location maps. Over 70 fingerposts have been installed to date across this historic City.
